Pedro Pasturczak

Pedro Pasturczak makes pictures of things that don't exist yet. For twenty years that meant buildings — architectural visualisation for developers across the Netherlands, Australia and the UK. In 2025 it started to mean something stranger: an AI short film, a character named after his wife, and eventually a book, written in the evenings, in his second language, in daily collaboration with the technology it describes.

The Remarkable Half is his account of that collaboration — what he found when he went looking for the ghost in the machine, and what the person on this side of the screen has to become for the work to go well. Carolina, his wife, designed the jacket and saw the book's structure before he did; her voice is in its pages, unedited.

Born in Curitiba, Brazil. Lives in Walton-on-Thames, England, with Carolina, their son, and the cat. He runs Omnivyv, a property media platform, and is neither a philosopher nor an engineer — a practitioner whose discipline is paying attention.
